Directions:
Exit Hwy 101 1.8 miles south of Clark Ave. (South side of Santa Maria / Orcutt) onto small frontage road (pay attention: it comes quickly, right after the yellow T-junction sign. There is no turn-around on HWY 101 for 5 miles).
Follow the frontage road 0.1 mile (It bends left)
Turn right through the gate at the BREITBURN sign(s)
Follow the road and signs to SOLOMAN HILLS PICNIC GROUNDS
Park in the large grassy area on the right as you enter
Field Day will, again, be held at Rancho Grande Park.
We will be operating for 24 hours straight. So please sign up for a 2 to 4 hour shift.
WE NEED OPERATORS!
If you can go the full 24 hours that would be great. It makes no difference what class license you have, we will have Extra and Advanced class licensees as control operators. Even if you have never worked HF before, it's a great way to jump in with an Elmer right by your side. I guarantee you will be a seasoned vet in a few minutes!
Last year Dave K6AYK, Sarah KN6YCQ, and Steve KI6FW went nonstop for the full 24 hours!
Please contact Dave K6AYK, Marc K6ZAP, or Steve KI6FW
to sign up ASAP
